Blakes is the inspirational creation of world renowned designer Anouska Hempel as the world’s first luxury boutique hotel. Located in the leafy Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Blakes is justly famous for its stunning design, elegance and dedicated service. Its uncompromising stand on privacy has made it the London base for film stars, musicians and all the top designers, earning its reputation as The "Couture" Hotel.
Sympathetically converted from a collection of period Victorian town houses, Blakes is now established and recognized as totally unique and has revolutionized and influenced the concept of the small luxury hotel worldwide.
The stunning design, both elegant and romantic, of each room was individually created by Anouska Hempel, displaying her immaculate attention to detail reconstructed to provide the ideal blend of colour, texture and atmosphere.

Location Summary
Blakes, is situated in the quiet residential area of South Kensington. Easily accessible by underground (South Kensington or Gloucester Road) and a short taxi ride from Harrods and Knightsbridge. A five minute walk can take you to the fashionable Brompton Cross or the Kings Road. Museums such as Victoria and Albert, Natural History and the Science Museum are only five minutes by taxi or a fifteen minute stroll. The Hotel is also close to London's famous Royal Parks with Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and The Albert Hall.

Turn Right Into It And Blakes Is On The Corner Of Roland Gardens. *driving Directions From Gatwick Airport Take The M23 To Central London And Follow The Signs To South Kensington. Drive Down Old Brompton Road And Turn Into Roland Gardens. Blakes Is On The Right Side On The Corner Of Roland Gardens.
