Buergenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa

Perched on a cliff above Lake Lucerne, The Buergenstock Hotel and Alpine Spa is a luxury hotel set within the fully-integrated 140-acre Buergenstock Resort complex. Opened in late 2017, the newly-built Buergenstock Hotel is part of a legendary setting recognized for Swiss pioneering heritage and frequented by glamorous celebrities for generations.

Guest rooms and suites feature panoramic windows with one-of-a-kind views of the lake and the Swiss countryside. Modern architecture and fine materials combine with window seats, plush beds, spacious work desks, and luxurious bathrooms with dual sinks, and large soaking tubs.

The Buergenstock Alpine Spa offers a variety of spa treatments to relax and renew, as well as daily exfoliation and sauna fusion ceremonies, steam baths, panorama and aroma saunas, Kneipp baths, Jacuzzi baths, and experience showers. There is also one indoor pool and two outdoor pools with panoramic views.

For dining, the Spices Kitchen & Terrace serves authentic Asian dishes. The Ritzcoffier Restaurant takes guests on a culinary journey to France with views over Lake Lucerne, while the Lake View Cigar Lounge provides an exclusive setting. In addition, the resort complex has additional dining options including the iconic Taverne 1879 with traditional Swiss cuisine.

The conference and event spaces feature lake or mountain views, plus the resort complex has a 9-hole golf course, three tennis courts, and hiking trails.
