The restoration of Claridge's Foyer has been undertaken by the internationally-acclaimed architect and designer, Thierry Despont. Crowning the Foyer from its 18 ft high ceiling is a magnificent Dale Chihuly silver-white light sculpture, assembled from more than 800 individually hand-blown glass pieces. The Foyer is perfect for light meals, afternoon tea and cocktails. Musical entertainment is played every day from 3pm to 9.30pm. The Reading Room is the preferred venue for intimate dining in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. Here, enjoy the ceremony of taking Afternoon Tea, the most civilized part of the day.
