Hotel de Crillon
Following an extensive four-year renovation, Hotel de Crillon, a Rosewood Hotel reopened in July 2017. Providing an iconic setting facing Place de la Concorde and fronted by the architecture of Ange-Jacques Gabriel, the regal property was the residence of Count de Crillon for many years, and transformed into a luxury hotel in 1909.
Mixing vintage glamour and architectural elements with modern amenities and technology, guest rooms and suites embody Parisian residential style. Respecting the landmark hotel's 18th-century heritage, there are bespoke furnishings, elegant antiques, and specially selected objects d'art. There are luxury beds with Rivolta Carmignani Italian linens, French pillows and duvets, plus large flat-screen TVs and Nespresso machines. While marble bathrooms have heated floors, Buly 1803 bath amenities, in-mirror TVs, and separate walk-in showers and bathtubs.
There are three revitalized dining options, including L'Ecrin serving a contemporary gastronomic menu by Chef Christopher Hache. Along with Brasserie D'Aumont with timeless French cuisine prepared with seasonal ingredients and regional products. For Afternoon Tea and sweets, Jardin d'Hiver offers a glamorous residential lounge, and Les Ambassadeurs provides an iconic setting for cocktails and live entertainment.
Within the reimagined palace, there's the new Sense, A Rosewood Spa along with the Hair Salon by David Lucas and the Barber by La Barbiere de Paris. As well as a newly created indoor swimming pool and fitness studio.
Classified as historic landmarks, the Hotel de Crillon has three salons: Salon Marie-Antoinette, Salon des Batailles and Salon des Aigles. Dating back to 1775-1776, the event spaces have soaring ceilings and can be connected to accommodate larger events.
